Spicy Smokey Margarita
Ingredients
- 1½ oz reposado tequila
- 1½ oz fresh lime juice
- 1 oz Cointreau
- 2–3 jalapeño slices, seeds removed
- Lime wedge
- Tajin (for rim)
- Grilling plank
Method
Burn the grilling plank with a butane torch and place a chilled cocktail glass over it. While it is smoking, muddle the jalapeño slices in a shaker. Add the liquid ingredients and give a vigorous ten-second shake. Rim the edge of the glass with Tajin. Strain into the smoked glass and garnish with a lime wedge.
