Elephant Nature Park
Elephant Nature Park is truly a magical place and a must see! Located about an hour north of Chiang Mai, it was established by Saengduean Chailert (Lek) — we even got to meet her!
The park has rescued elephants from cruel practices. It felt like Jurassic Park as the elephants wander free!
We did the overnight stay and highly recommend it. The second day was the best — we hiked into the mountains with just our guide and saw many elephants in their natural habitat.
